Description: Dr Racke discusses incorporation of new molecular markers into the diagnostic algorithms for myeloid neoplasms, illustrates the principle of molecular monitoring in prognostic and therapeutic assessment of myeloid neoplasms, and explains the benefits and pitfalls in the use of next-generation sequencing (NGS) for the workup of low-grade MDS.
