Cathy Doherty, our Senior Vice President and Group Executive, Clinical Franchise Solutions & Marketing, was among the Policy Makers recently honored by the Executive Women of New Jersey.The organization’s ninth annual event, which funds initiatives aimed at advancing women’s leadership, recognized 32 women as some of the state’s most influential and accomplished leaders in business, government, and academia.Joining Cathy at the event was her husband Pat, Steve Rusckowski, Chairman, President and CEO, Jim Davis, Executive Vice President, General Diagnostics, Cecilia McKenney, Chief Human Resources Officer, and Vice President/General Manager East Region Operations Lakshmi Gudapakkam.

In her 28 years, she has played an integral leadership role in helping Quest Diagnostics work towards achieving its three aspirational goals of promoting a healthier world, building value, and creating an inspiring workplace.On the way to her current position on our Senior Management Team, Cathy has distinguished herself through roles including Chief Accounting Officer, Investor Relations and Communications lead, Vice President of Finance and Administration for the Hospital Business, Vice President of Hospital Services, and Senior Vice President of Physician Services. She has also served on numerous Quest Diagnostics Joint Venture boards including Testes Forenses DO, Brasil, Sonora Quest Laboratories and Diagnostics Laboratories of Oklahoma (DLO).Among her many accomplishments, Cathy is a founding member of the Quest networking organization Women in Leadership (WIL). WIL was created to expand the leadership pool by developing the leadership competencies in female employees throughout the organization.
