Understanding Genetic Insights health reports

Reports for patients and healthcare providers

All patients receive:

♦ Digital condition reports. Every patient receives a set of health condition reports that provide necessary information about results and key takeaways—in plain English. These reports can be downloaded and printed.

♦ A lab report to share with a provider. Quest Diagnostics encourages patients to discuss their test results with their healthcare providers. Within the secure Genetic Insights online platform, customers can download, print, and share their lab report with a healthcare provider.

The lab report lists the genes tested and detailed descriptions of any pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants detected, if applicable.

Included in this report is a QR code that, when scanned with a smartphone, surfaces an online Quick Reference Guide for providers with information about test results, next steps, and clinical guidelines.

The Genetic Insights test was developed and is performed by Quest Diagnostics. The test results are not diagnostic and do not determine the overall chance of developing a disease or health condition. The tests are not cleared or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Consult a healthcare provider before taking any action based on test results, including before making any treatment, dietary, or lifestyle changes.
