Testing options for employee biometric screenings

Employee testing options and screening panels that fit your company's needs

Screening is the foundation for health improvement. Providing your employees and their dependents the opportunity to know their numbers allows them to take charge of their health. Quest Diagnostics offers a wide array of testing options that give participants the measures they need to be knowledgeable about their health risks and make positive change.

Available panels include:

  • Comprehensive Panel: an expansive fasting panel including 30 tests to monitor overall health status
  • Heart and Diabetes Panel: a basic fasting panel including 5 tests to monitor heart disease and diabetes risk
  • Non-fasting Panel:a non-fasting panel including 5 tests to monitor heart disease and diabetes risk
  • Fingerstick Panel: available as a fasting or non-fasting panel for on-site events including 7 tests to monitor heart disease and diabetes risk

Additional tests to enhance employee health insights and fill gaps in care

  • Hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) : Screening for HbA1c provides a look at blood glucose levels over a 2-3 month timespan, and can alert screening participants with normal glucose measurements to type 2 diabetes risk
  • eGFR: Screening for estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) can alert individuals to their chronic kidney disease (CKD) risk before CKD progresses to an advanced stage.
  • High-sensitivity CRP (hsCRP): Screening for inflammation in the body, which can be an early indicator of heart disease.
  • SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) antibody: Screening to provide employees knowledge about their immune response to a recent or prior infection of COVID-19.
  • Prostate-specific antigen (PSA): Screening to detect prostate cancer risk.
  • Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH): Screening to detect abnormal thyroid function which can be indicative of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, or other health issues.
  • Cotinine (serum or oral swab): Screening to confirm use of nicotine substances. Often used to confirm with tobacco-free incentives.
  • Vitamin D: Screening to see if the body has enough Vitamin D present in the bloodstream to maintain bone health.
